How do I chase her?

so I'm at the deserted base and have defeated mistyra. When I go to pursue her I never catch her. Am I missing something? Is that all there is to the base? Or has it not been completed yet?

you probably already answered this question but... when the game gets 100% complete, would you consider making the game free like this update?
